3DS Max Animation - Skoda Fabia Cabriolet

For my latest CAD project, I was assigned to create a model and animate it accordingly using Autodesk 3DS Max.
I modelled a Skoda Fabia but customised it to become a cabriolet.
I also modelled a scene from a tutorial (3DS Tutorials - Lighting a Warehouse Interior) which was very high quality, but due to certain effects it took a long time to render, so the animation is poorer quality than I had hoped.
Below are some still renders using high quality settings.
Link to the animation on YouTube.

Commercial Delivery Project Update

Following on from the previous post, further development was taken on the concept after an interim review.
Below are the renders of the revised design.

Commercial Delivery Project

For this project I am designing a community support vehicle for rural and remote areas. It addresses the problems caused by recent cuts to services, such as the closing of Post Office's, the termination of bus services and cuts to local authorities.
It works as a vehicle that delivers groceries to a community, like many supermarkets do already, but it will then go on and park in the village where it will become a community meeting hub. Where local residents can meet, the idea is to create a greater social bonding, as is being advertised by the government with the idea of The Big Society.
It will also offer restricted services from the Post Office and can be used by the local authorities as a place where bill payments can take place.

It is at a conceptual phase so far, so development will continue and changes to the idea are likely to be seen on the next post for this.
But here are some images so far.

I have employed a friendly aesthetic on the vehicle as to create a design that is welcoming and encourages the community to meet at the vehicle. It also gives the companies running the services, good social corporate responsibility.

A sketch showing how the vehicle expands out, creating a larger volume that enables more people to meet in and around the vehicle.

A very simple interior so that the operator can focus on providing a good service. A tablet screen will also enable the operator to view orders etc.

An over head view of how the vehicle expands out, creating a sheltered area for users of the vehicle.
For the purpose of grocery delivery, one of the panels that lift will also slide, creating a space more easily accessible.

Morgan Project

It has been way too long since I've posted, so here are some renders of an interior I did for a Morgan.
I used 3DS Max to build the interior and to render it, with a few added extras from Photoshop.

A front facing view from above the interior, showing how the eye is lead along the vehicle to the front. Creating a sense of dynamism and speed.

An overhead image of the interior, showing the flow of parts constructed from wood.

Power button enclosed by a leather wallet, embossed with the Morgan or a personalised emblem.

Interior image, showing a screen that employs 'transformative aesthetic' to create driving theatre.

Audi TT Model Renders

In my latest Computer Visualisation project, I was tasked with modelling an Audi TT using Autodesk Alias. Followed by high quality renders using Autodesk 3DS Max and Autodesk Showcase.

Backpack Renders

For my latest project, I've designed a backpack that can be used as a laptop bag but also as a normal soft-shell bag via a squeeze to a reservoir full of gel. Here are two renders, one showing the bag with the protective pads full and reservoir empty and vice versa.
